Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara is the proud winner of numerous distinctions which include the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was elected an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was acknowledged for her stand-up comedy and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
